Conditions of Entry and Rules
Entry is open to anyone aged 18 years or over on 16 January, 2016, who has the skill and fitness to safely participate. All participants must read and accept the waiver and conditions of entry as set out in the entry form.
The field will be capped at 460 to maintain the quality of the experience for all competitors. Entries will be accepted in order of receipt. Each individual must enter themselves - group entries are not possible. Entry is made using the on-line entry and payment system that will be available from just after midnight on 1 June, 2015. Payment must be made to secure a place in the event. Visa and Mastercard may be used. Cancellation of entry up until November 15 will incur a fee of 10% of the entry fee, with the balance refunded. Cancellations from November 16 - January 3 will incur a fee of 15%. Cancellations after January 3, 2015, will not receive a refund. Travel insurance is advisable in case of late cancellations. Entries are not transferrable if there is a waitlist of competitors and will only occur at the organisers' discretion.

Individual: Mens & Womens: U23, Open, Veterans (30-39), Masters(40-49), Super Masters (50-59), Grand Masters (60+), Supreme Masters (70+), Single Speed Ages are taken as at January 16, 2016. All competitors must enter their correct age category.
Teams: Individuals entering may also form a team. Teams are to comprise of 3 riders, and results will be based on the cumulative individual times of all three.
Prizes and Trophies
Prizes will be awarded for every competition stage, in all categories (teams excepted). Trophies for the overall winners and place getters for the event will be awarded at the final presentations in Strahan. Random prizes will be drawn throughout the event and the winners must be in attendance to claim their prize or the prize will be re-drawn. Support and Registered Support Crew
Competitors are encouraged to provide their own dedicated support vehicle and driver. A support crew registration package is available for $110 (including GST) per person. This includes lunch and drinks each day, support crew booklet, a race t-shirt and inclusion in the support crew random prize draw at the final presentation. Support crew can be registered for this package online via Registered Support Crew link and the entry form payment page, or at race registration. For those unable to provide their own support, the Transport Shuttle or Transport & Accommodation Packages might suit.
The transport shuttle is designed for people who bring their cars to the event, but don't have a driver. This shuttle service is for transporting people and day bags only, not bikes or overnight gear - and enables people to reconnect with their vehicles at the end of each day. Transport & Accommodation Packages
If you are unable to arrange your own support for the event, you may opt for one of the transport and accommodation packages. Availability of these packages is strictly limited.
Note that transport support cannot be provided for competitors who book their own accommodation.Transport support options include bus transport from either Launceston or Strahan to Cradle Mt on Friday, January 15, full support and accommodation through the event, then return transport to Launceston or Strahan. Accommodation for the first two night is at Cradle Mt Hotel, and the next three night will be at Strahan Village. the packages are available as either single or twin share. Confirmation of entry is via an automatically generated tax receipt/invoice that is emailed to each competitor on receipt of a completed on-line entry plus payment. You will receive one email containing a summary of your entry submission and a second email containing a tax invoice/receipt that is sent at the time of a completed payment. It is the tax receipt/invoice that confirms your completed entry and place in the event. If these emails don't arrive, please check with the race organisers via email so that we can confirm your correct email address.
