Juventus coach Thiago Motta confirms Federico Chiesa is not in the team’s plans ahead of the first game of the new season tomorrow.

Chiesa has been a regular for Juve since joining from Fiorentina for a fee in the region of €60m, but his contract is set to expire next summer and there is no intention of extending it.

While Thiago Motta, who came in as the new coach, announced that Chiesa would be cut from the team for the 2024/25 season and recently reiterated his stance again before the first match of the new season against newcomers Como this Monday.

On the other hand, Chiesa continues working separately while waiting for offers from other clubs. When asked if the Italian’s situation has changed in recent days, Motta replied: “No, it hasn’t. I spoke with him internally. This proves my respect for all my players. I want to transmit transparency and clarity to my players. Nothing has changed.”

“Our position on Federico Chiesa has not changed. He is not part of our plans,” Motta said of the Italy international.

“We’ve talked about it Promotion Ufabet. That’s an example of the respect I have for everyone. The transparency, the clarity. That’s the way I communicate with my players.”

The minimum price Juve can sell Chiesa for without taking a loss is €15m. A small price to pay for a 26-year-old who has already won 51 caps for Italy.
